Curatorial Vision/Mission: “Photography, from its beginnings, has been a medium of interrogation and change. One of the real challenges for fine art photography today is balancing traditional processes and photography’s established practitioners with the explosion of new methods, styles and works that bombard what was until recently a relatively select group of artists. As a curator and a gallerist, my contribution is to gather photographers from New Mexico and around the world who are engaged in all manner of photography, and present their works in a way that both honors their art, and informs established and next-generation collectors about the value of photography in this century.” | Sybylla Smith BioJ.Sybylla Smith is an independent curator with over 27 solo or group exhibitions featuring over 80 international photographers exhibited in the U.S., Mexico and South America.
